Cornell Fraternity Rape Allegations Uncover Powerful Family Ties and Sister's Own University Rape Fight

Seven fraternity brothers at Cornell University are accused of participating in an alleged drug-fueled gang rape of a student. The incident, which reportedly took place in 2024, has led to a lawsuit filed by a Jane Doe, who claims assault by seven members of the Chi Phi fraternity.

One of the accused, 23-year-old Winston Lee, is reportedly the grandson of Lee Hong-koo, who served as South Korea's prime minister in the mid-1990s. His grandfather also held diplomatic posts in London and Washington, where he reportedly interacted with President Bill Clinton. Winston Lee was born into a prominent South Korean family and was present at his grandfather's funeral in May, which was broadcast on Korean television.

Meanwhile, Winston Lee's own sister is reportedly engaged in her own legal battle against the university concerning an alleged rape. The lawsuit filed by Jane Doe against the Chi Phi members claims that during the alleged assault, fraternity brother Jonathan Newell posted a message to a 'Chi Phi Actives' Snapchat group stating there was "free pussy" upstairs.
