Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., revealed that he received a warning after pushing for greater transparency regarding unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), commonly referred to as UFOs. Burchett stated in a recent appearance that a person connected to the Trump administration contacted him, suggesting he had "kicked a virtual hornet's nest" and advising him to "get bodies around you."
Burchett made these remarks during a discussion on Sean Hannity's podcast, where he also alleged that the U.S. government intentionally obstructs public access to classified UFO documents by transferring them to private defense contractors. "We've come to find out they turn it over to a private entity, like one of our missile defense contractors," Burchett explained. "There’s probably five or six of them." He argued that this practice allows the government to circumvent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, as private companies are not obligated to respond to such inquiries.
Luis Elizondo, a former senior intelligence official and UAP activist, also shared his experiences, claiming he was warned about potential threats to his safety. Elizondo stated that during a classified congressional briefing, he learned of discussions to "eliminate" him and whistleblower David Grusch. He recounted receiving calls from concerned staffers who were made aware of these alleged plans.
Both Burchett and Elizondo have been vocal advocates for increased government disclosure concerning UAP. Burchett further claimed that sworn testimony exists indicating the U.S. government possesses non-human or alien bodies. Elizondo suggested that various entities may have motivations for concealing information about extraterrestrial life from the public.
According to Burchett, information he received in a secure setting indicated that former President Donald Trump was only privy to UAP information on a "need-to-know" basis. Elizondo added that these decisions about informing the president appear to be made unilaterally by certain individuals within the government.
