The fifth-annual Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival at Baha Mar featured performances by Grammy-winning band OneRepublic and Oscar-winning rapper Common.

The weekend-long event drew a host of celebrity chefs, including Marcus Samuelsson, Buddy Valastro, Maneet Chauhan, Tristen Epps, and Daniel Boulud.

OneRepublic headlined a VIP party on Friday, performing hits like “Stop and Stare,” “Chasing Stars,” “Apologize,” and “Good Life.” Frontman Ryan Tedder also performed a medley of songs he has written for other artists, such as Beyoncé’s “Halo” and Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.” Tedder playfully remarked on his and guitarist Drew Brown's matching outfits during the set.

Also on Friday, rapper Common performed at Jon Batiste’s Jazz Club to officially kick off the festival. This followed his performance on Thursday evening at the same venue.

The festival also included culinary events, such as a special multi-course dinner hosted by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud with alumni from his global kitchens. Chefs Andrea Calstier, Yohko Ogata, Helen Nguyen, and Melissa Rodriguez participated in the five-course meal.

In addition to the music and dining, the festival featured the FUZE Art Expo, showcasing Caribbean artists and art inspired by the region.
