Comedian Margaret Cho is facing criticism following a video that circulated on social media in which she mocked the death of Senator Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and appeared to suggest that former President Donald Trump might be next.

In a video posted on Facebook, Cho stated, "Bye Lindsey… Bye Lindsey Graham. From the closet to the coffin, real seamless. Real seamless." She also mentioned Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, saying, "Um, also yeah, Mitch McConnell. So, it’s Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham… it does happen in threes. Hope."

Senator Graham, 71, died Saturday evening. Preliminary findings from the D.C. medical examiner indicated the cause of death was an aortic tear due to cardiovascular disease. A statement from Graham's office noted that the death certificate would remain pending until all toxicological and microscopic testing were finalized.

Graham, a prominent Republican figure known for his work on foreign policy, had recently returned from Ukraine. He previously served as one of the House Republican impeachment managers during President Bill Clinton's 1999 Senate trial.

Mitch McConnell has been hospitalized for nearly a month and recently stated that his doctors confirmed he did not break any bones or suffer a concussion, heart attack, stroke, tumors, or hemorrhages.
