Colin Farrell has unveiled a striking new look, stepping out in Los Angeles with a completely shaved head. The actor, known for his transformative roles, was photographed during a lunch outing on Wednesday, sporting the smooth-domed appearance.

Farrell was seen in an olive green T-shirt and black pants, accessorized with sunglasses. In another sighting, he wore a blue ball cap over his newly shorn hair and brown loafers. The actor appeared relaxed as he navigated parking meters in the city.

The change in hairstyle comes as Farrell prepares to reprise his role as Oswald Cobblepot, also known as The Penguin, in "The Batman Part II." He had previously undergone a significant transformation for the character in the 2022 film "The Batman" and the subsequent HBO spinoff series "The Penguin," which earned him a Golden Globe in 2025. He had expressed excitement about the sequel, calling the script "extraordinary."

This is not the first time Farrell has sported a shaved head. He was previously seen with a similar look in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, in 2021, ahead of the release of "The Batman."

Reflecting on his transformation into The Penguin for "The Batman" premiere, Farrell described the experience as "strange" and "powerful." He likened seeing his reflection to a cat's reaction to its own image, noting the disconnect between his long-held appearance and the character's visage. He explained that the transformation created a "blank slate" that allowed him to fully embody the ruthless crime boss.
