Colin Cowherd Floats UFO Conspiracy Theory on Air
The Fox Sports Radio host speculated about government secrets and alien technology during a discussion about NFL injuries.
Fox Sports Radio host Colin Cowherd veered into a conspiracy theory involving UFOs and government secrets during a recent broadcast while discussing the San Francisco 49ers' injury struggles. The conversation, which included ex-NFL player Chris Long, took an unexpected turn when Cowherd questioned the origins of unexplained aerial phenomena.
While initially discussing the 49ers' numerous player injuries, including those of Nick Bosa and Mike Evans, the topic shifted. Cowherd referenced a documentary called 'Age of Disclosure' as having convinced him about UFOs. He then expressed skepticism based on past experiences in Las Vegas, where reported UFO sightings were later revealed to be the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. Cowherd suggested that governments have a history of manufacturing technology and withholding information, adding that he believes China is currently ahead of the U.S. in many areas.
Long attempted to alleviate Cowherd's concerns, humorously suggesting that if extraterrestrial beings possessed the technology to reach Earth, they could easily overpower humanity if they intended to. He posited that any visitors would likely be observing rather than posing a threat.
