Coleen Rooney experienced a substantial financial uplift in 2025, with earnings reaching £2.4 million, according to newly filed figures. This surge in income coincided with her emergence as the primary breadwinner for her family, marked by her participation in "I'm a Celebrity" and the launch of her fashion line with Primark, while her husband, Wayne Rooney, navigated a period of career transition.

The company established to manage Coleen's earnings, CWR 2021, reported funds of £2,437,718 for the 12 months concluding in September 2025. This figure represents a considerable increase from the £580,779 recorded in 2024.

Coleen Rooney, 40, secured a reported £1.5 million for her appearance on "I'm a Celeb" in 2024, making her the highest-paid contestant in the show's history. She later stated that the public's positive reception during the ITV series encouraged her to sign on for the family's recently released reality show, "The Real Rooneys."

The streaming rights for "The Real Rooneys" sparked a bidding war between Disney+ and Amazon, with Disney+ ultimately securing the deal for a reported £10 million. The series, filmed in 2025, chronicles the family's shifting dynamics as Coleen re-engages with her professional career.

In the show's initial episode, Coleen is depicted contemplating a multi-million-pound contract with Primark, weighing the decision to return to work outside the home after focusing on raising her four sons. Wayne Rooney, who had recently been dismissed from his managerial role at Plymouth Argyle, expressed his support for her career move.

"I think Coleen going back to work is good for her, rather than just being here and looking after the kids and me as well," Wayne commented in the series. "And that's coincided with me not having a 9-5 job so I'm here with the kids."

Wayne, who later joined the Match of the Day commentary team, is shown grappling with adjusting to life beyond professional football. He shared in the program that the couple has prioritized raising their children themselves, explaining, "People ask why don't we have a nanny. 'You can afford to have a nanny help you,' but they're OUR kids. It's tough for anyone who has four kids but you want to bring them up. You want to be around them. It's tough but enjoyable."

Coleen also discusses her own challenges in balancing her roles as a working mother. Speaking with her friend Danielle Gibson, she admitted to feeling a sense of sadness and strain from juggling multiple responsibilities. "I want a nice balanced life. I do feel a bit sad at the minute. Just because I don't think things are... just a bit snappy, irritated," she confided. "It's just a bit hard juggling everything and the house is not happy."

She further elaborated on the difficulty of managing household issues without adequate time to address them, expressing concern. "I prep and I try to do everything the best I can but I still find it really difficult leaving my kids. The hardest thing is picking the pieces up when you get back. Over the past few weeks I'm questioning myself, what do I need to do? I need to calm down but that's because I'm quite highly strung. I feel I have a lot, I need to do a lot, but maybe I don't have to do it all."
