Coleen Rooney and Luisa Zissman celebrated their teenage children's GCSE results on Thursday, sharing their pride on social media.
Coleen Rooney posted a selfie with her eldest son Kai, 16, expressing her happiness that he had passed his exams and secured a place in sixth form. "GCSE results day!! Super proud Kai Rooney….Great results especially with a busy schedule, all passed and a place in 6th form!! We love you," she wrote on Instagram. Kai, who juggles his studies with a football career at Manchester United's Under 18s squad, was later seen being dropped off at the team's training complex by his parents.
Rooney herself left school after beginning her A-Levels to pursue her relationship with Wayne Rooney, who had already begun his professional football career. Kai plays primarily as a right winger/forward for Manchester United.
Meanwhile, "The Apprentice" star Luisa Zissman also shared her daughter Dixie's GCSE results. Zissman posted a video of her 16-year-old daughter opening her results on a tablet. "I’m so proud of my baby. She is amazing, hard work pays off and she worked so hard to achieve the results she wanted and exceeded everyone’s expectations!!" Zissman captioned the post. "Dixie Lola you’re a rockstar never stop pushing, never stop working hard & achieving your dreams and goals, I could burst with pride."
Zissman admitted to being more nervous than her daughter before the results were revealed, acknowledging the hard work Dixie put in. She also joked with fans about the difficulty of A-levels compared to GCSEs. Zissman, who left school at 16 to start her own business, appeared on series nine of "The Apprentice" in 2013. She now works as a content creator and co-hosts the podcast "LuAnna."
