Cole Palmer Denies Manchester United Interest, Focuses on Chelsea Future
Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer has addressed speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United, stating the club never approached him.
Despite widespread speculation in the latter half of the past season, Manchester United never made a move for Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer, the player confirmed.
The rumors had intensified, leading to assumptions about a potential transfer, but Palmer clarified that no official contact was made by the Old Trafford club.
Palmer recently signed an improved contract with Chelsea earlier this month. This comes after a season where he received advice on 'emotional control' from Xabi Alonso following a red card incident. He is now set to step up for Chelsea in crucial matches, especially with Joao Pedro sidelined and his own return from suspension.
Palmer's red card against Tottenham Hotspur marked the first of his career. He is eligible to play in Saturday's match against Manchester United, the club he was reportedly linked with in the summer.
Earlier in his career, Palmer demonstrated his potential in the 2025 Club World Cup final, where his performance overshadowed stars from Paris Saint-Germain.
