Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch recently shared moments from a family fishing trip in Montauk, New York, during their stay in the United States.
The model, 40, and former footballer, 45, were accompanied by their four children: Sophia, 15, Liberty, 11, Johnny, eight, and Jack, seven.
Clancy documented the family outing, describing it as "Fishing carnage." The children engaged in catching fish, with Clancy expressing visible enjoyment as she watched them. She wore a grey sweatshirt from Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa, red crochet shorts, a baseball cap, and sunglasses. Crouch sported a grey T-shirt and white shorts.
The family's trip to the U.S. also involved an incident at New York's airport where their daughter Sophia, 15, nearly faced an arrest. According to Clancy on their podcast, "The Therapy Crouch Show," Sophia made a comment about fingerprints during a discussion about fingerprinting procedures at immigration. She asked why she needed to provide fingerprints, humorously suggesting it was "in case there are fingerprints on the gun?" Immigration officers reportedly questioned her remarks, prompting Clancy to clarify that her daughter was inquiring about law enforcement methods for catching criminals.
Another airport incident involved a woman's unattended bag, which was mistaken for a potential security threat. Clancy recounted how the confusion and delay caused by this situation led to their driver leaving them, an event that resulted in her becoming distressed.
Despite these travel challenges, the family also visited the Statue of Liberty, with Clancy sharing a photo of her daughter Liberty, 11, at the landmark. The family's presence in the U.S. was related to Peter Crouch's involvement with the FOX Sports Broadcast Team for the World Cup, providing game analysis. Following the conclusion of the tournament, they have been exploring New York City.
