Cindy Crawford Devastated by Son Presley Gerber's Death

Cindy Crawford is reportedly “devastated” and “inconsolable” following the death of her 27-year-old son, Presley Gerber, who died of a reported drug overdose at a Santa Monica rehabilitation facility. Sources close to the family described them as “tight-knit” and emphasized the profound grief they are experiencing.

According to reports, Presley had checked into the rehab facility the same weekend he was pronounced deceased. A representative for the family released a statement to Page Six requesting “privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”

Presley, who followed in his famous mother's footsteps as a model, had been open about his struggles with addiction and mental health. In 2018, he was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) in Beverly Hills and later pleaded no contest, receiving a three-year probation.

He also spoke publicly about his battles with depression, which he described as a “24-7 job.” In March, Presley shared details about a trip to Mexico where he underwent treatment using ibogaine, a psychoactive substance known for its use in aiding sobriety. At the time, Crawford publicly supported her son, calling him a “warrior” and expressing pride in his efforts to overcome addiction.

Sources close to the family highlighted Crawford's deep involvement in her children's lives, stating she was always hands-on and supportive. "Cindy was extremely involved in everything when it came to Kaia and Presley growing up," one source told Page Six. "She never missed a school function and was on top of everything when it came to her kids."

The loss has deeply affected not only the family but also Presley's wider circle of friends. "The entire friend group is devastated," a source said.
