Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber Visit Daughter Kaia Amid Grief Over Son Presley's Death

Supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, visited their daughter Kaia Gerber at her home in the Hollywood Hills on Saturday. The couple arrived carrying a large tote bag and what appeared to be a personal item, continuing to navigate the grief following the death of their son, Presley Gerber, at age 27.

Presley Gerber died on September 20 from a suspected overdose. He had been at Resolutions Living, an ultra-luxury recovery and sober living facility in Santa Monica, California, the night before his death. The autopsy has been completed, but the official cause of death is pending the release of toxicology reports.

Crawford, 60, and Gerber, 64, have been seen supporting each other during this period. Earlier this month, they were photographed holding hands during a beach outing. They have largely remained out of the public eye, aside from visiting Kaia and Presley's former residence.

On October 18, the couple shared a joint statement on Instagram expressing their devastation. "We are beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother," the statement read. "We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years. He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever. We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability."

The statement concluded, "Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia."

Kaia Gerber also shared a personal tribute to her brother on social media, writing, "You know how much I loved being your sister. It has always been, and will forever be, my favorite thing about myself." She described her brother as her "ultimate teacher" and expressed the difficulty of navigating life in his absence.

Presley, who had worked as an entrepreneur and in mental health, was cremated. Sources close to the investigation told TMZ that Presley was found in a bedroom at the rehab facility. He had reportedly checked into the facility the night before his death after going into cardiac arrest.

A 911 dispatch recording obtained by the Daily Mail indicated the call from the rehab facility mentioned "cardiac arrest" followed by "overdose." The call was initially made at 9:35 a.m. on September 20 regarding a cardiac arrest and was later upgraded to an overdose.

Sources also told TMZ that a physician had allegedly been prescribing Presley ketamine, a drug used to treat addiction but not FDA-approved for that purpose, despite knowledge of his past struggles with substances. Friends of Presley reportedly expressed anger over the prescription, given his history.

Presley had been open about his decade-long struggle with drug addiction and mental health. In March, he posted about undergoing a "Pre-ibogaine flood dose" at a treatment clinic in Mexico, a process involving a high dose of ibogaine, a substance reported to help with withdrawal symptoms. At the time, Crawford and Gerber praised his "courage" in seeking treatment.

Weeks prior to his death, Kaia Gerber spoke to Vogue about the impact of her brother's struggles on the family, stating that the turmoil had "leveled everyone." She praised Presley's openness about his challenges, contrasting it with their parents' traditionally private approach to family matters.
