Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber Visit Daughter Kaia Amid Grief Over Son Presley's Death

Supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, were observed visiting their daughter Kaia Gerber at her home in the Hollywood Hills on Saturday. The outing occurred as the family continues to mourn the death of their son and brother, Presley Gerber, who passed away at the age of 27.

Crawford, 60, and Gerber, 64, were seen arriving at Kaia's residence carrying a large tote bag and what appeared to be a personal item. Crawford was dressed in wide-legged jeans, a white blouse, and a tan jacket, while Gerber wore charcoal-gray trousers, a gray t-shirt, and dark blue sneakers.

Presley Gerber died on September 20 from a suspected overdose at Resolutions Living, a recovery facility in Santa Monica, California. The exact cause of death is pending an autopsy and toxicology reports.

Earlier in October, Crawford and Gerber released a joint statement on Instagram, expressing their profound grief. "We are beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother," the statement read. "We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years. He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever. We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability."

The statement continued, "We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain. Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia."

Kaia Gerber also shared a personal tribute to her brother on social media. "You know how much I loved being your sister," she wrote. "It has always been, and will forever be, my favorite thing about myself. I came into this world with a white-knuckle grip around you. I had more love for you than I knew what to do with. And now that it has nowhere obvious to go, I'm certain it’s going to swallow me whole."

She added, "You were my ultimate teacher while you were here, and now I'm left wondering what I could possibly be taught in your absence."

Presley Gerber had been open about his struggles with drug addiction and mental health, documenting aspects of his treatment, including a 'Pre-ibogaine flood dose' at a Mexican clinic in March. At the time, his parents and sister publicly praised his courage and vulnerability.

Sources close to the investigation told TMZ that Presley had been found in a bedroom at the rehab facility after checking in the night before his death, having gone into cardiac arrest. The 911 dispatch call from the facility included the phrases 'cardiac arrest' and 'overdose.'

Friends of Presley's have reportedly expressed anger that a physician had allegedly been prescribing him ketamine, despite knowing about his past struggles with addiction. Ketamine can be used in addiction treatment, though it is not FDA-approved for that purpose.

Crawford and Gerber have reportedly kept their son's ashes at their Malibu home. The couple have been seen supporting each other during this difficult period, including a beach outing earlier in the month. They have largely stayed out of the public eye since Presley's death.
