Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber Step Out Together After Son's Death

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber were seen holding hands during a walk on Malibu’s Zuma Beach, their first public outing since the death of their son, Presley Gerber. The couple, who have been married since 1998, were photographed on Saturday.

Crawford and Gerber both wore white tops, with the supermodel opting for black yoga pants and her husband in black shorts. Both donned ball caps and sneakers for the outing, and Crawford was seen carrying a smartphone.

The appearance comes a day after George Clooney, a longtime friend and co-founder of Gerber's Casamigos tequila brand, spoke about Presley's death. "Quite honestly, it’s one of the worst things that could ever happen with family," Clooney told Entertainment Tonight. "And their family is just… as you can imagine."

Presley Gerber died on September 20, reportedly from an apparent overdose. He was 27 years old and had checked into a sober living facility in Santa Monica hours before his death. Dispatch audio indicated that first responders were notified of an "overdose" and "cardiac arrest."

A family representative issued a statement shortly after Presley's death, asking for "privacy during this very difficult and painful time." Sources indicated that Presley had checked into Resolutions Living the same weekend he was pronounced dead.

According to reports, Presley was found in a bedroom at the facility. Prior to his death, he reportedly had the support of a 24/7 sober coach. He was cremated days after his death.

Crawford and Gerber, who married in 1998, also have a daughter, Kaia, born in 2001. Following Presley's death, a source told Page Six exclusively that Crawford was "inconsolable" and "absolutely devastated," adding that the family was "still trying to process everything that happened."
