Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber maintained a constant state of concern for their son Presley, who struggled with addiction and mental health issues for years prior to his death. Presley died on Sunday at the age of 27 at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica. An autopsy is pending, and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not yet released an official cause of death.

Sources close to the family shared that Crawford and Gerber "never stopped supporting" their son, emphasizing their deep love and desire for his health and happiness. "There was always concern around Presley," an insider told Page Six. "Cindy and Rande loved him tremendously, and they worried about him. They wanted him to be healthy and get to a good place."

According to reports, authorities suspect Presley's death may have been a result of a drug overdose while he was undergoing treatment. The source added, "No matter what he was going through, his family was there and wanted him to get the help he needed."

Crawford, who is described as "incredibly close" to her children, was particularly protective of Presley, her only son. "She wanted nothing more than to see him doing well," the insider stated. Flowers have reportedly begun arriving at the family's home.

In March, he shared on Instagram that he had undergone ibogaine treatment, describing it as a turning point after years of avoiding certain issues. His family publicly supported him during this time, with Crawford calling him a "warrior" just six months prior.

Presley's younger sister, Kaia Gerber, also spoke about the impact of his decade-long struggle on their family. "When something like that happens … it kind of levels everyone," she said, commending her brother for his candor.
