Ciara Miller Addresses 'Summer House' Drama on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Ciara Miller is using her "Dancing With the Stars" platform to address lingering drama from "Summer House." On Tuesday night's "Viral Hits Night" episode, Miller and her professional partner, Brandon Armstrong, performed a Tango to "No Broke Boys" by Disco Lines & Tinashe.

Miller explained that the song choice was a direct nod to the events of "Summer House" Season 10, which involved a love triangle between her ex-boyfriend, West Wilson, and her now-former best friend, Amanda Batula. "One time a broke boy ruined my life — or he tried. But we're here tonight, so it didn't work," Miller told co-host Julianne Hough, referencing the inspiration behind her dance.

During a pre-recorded segment, Miller shared how judge Carrie Ann Inaba's comment about seeing her "pain" resonated deeply. "I've been fighting seven years on reality TV to be seen without people calling me so dramatic," Miller said. "I'm not the type of girl that loves to talk publicly, so this is such a display of vulnerability, and that's frightening."

She described her "DWTS" journey as one of growth, noting that while the previous week was vulnerable, the current week made her feel "braver" and eager to show a different side of herself. Following their performance, the judges awarded Miller and Armstrong a score of 18 out of 30.

The "Summer House" Season 10 drama unfolded when Wilson and Batula confirmed their relationship in March, stating it was not their intention to hide it. They explained their need for privacy to process the unexpected connection that grew from a long-standing friendship.

Sources later confirmed to Page Six that Wilson and Batula were in a "full-blown relationship." The fallout included Miller and Batula's estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, being reportedly "pissed" and "disappointed" by the news.

The conflict was a central theme of the "Summer House" Season 10 reunion, where the timeline of Wilson and Batula's relationship was scrutinized. In the aftermath, Wilson was removed from "Summer House" Season 11, and Batula also departed ahead of production for the upcoming season, while Miller is set to return.

Miller has been unequivocal about her stance on reconciling with Batula, stating to People earlier this year, "Yeah, for sure," when asked if their friendship was over. She also brutally rejected Batula's apology during the reunion, viewing the relationship with her ex as a significant betrayal.
