Singer Ciara and NFL player Russell Wilson have announced they are expecting their fifth child, sharing the news in a video that captured their four children's surprised reactions.
The couple revealed the pregnancy on Sunday, with Ciara, 40, posting a video of herself cradling her baby bump. The following day, they shared a clip on Instagram showing how they told their children.
In the video, Ciara and Russell, 37, gathered their children—Sienna, 9; Win, 6; Amora, 2; and Future Zahir, 12, Ciara's son from a previous relationship—in their living room. The children were under the impression they were posing for a family photo and video.
After a countdown in Spanish, Russell announced, "Mummy's pregnant!" Ciara then opened her jacket to reveal her bump, exclaiming, "We're gonna have a baby!"
The children reacted with shock and excitement, screaming "Oh my God!" Sienna reached out to touch her mother's stomach, while Future initially questioned the announcement before exclaiming "no way!" and briefly leaving the room in surprise.
Future later remarked, "The speculations were true, I knew it!" Amora, held by Ciara, also mirrored her brother's excitement. The video concluded as Sienna asked about the baby's gender, which remains undisclosed.
Ciara captioned the video: "Best Moment of All…Surprising our kiddos."
The announcement follows a separate video Ciara posted showing white shirts hanging on a clothesline, with one small onesie at the end. She also held up five fingers, symbolizing the growing family size.
In July, Wilson had expressed his desire for a fifth child. "We have four amazing kids and I'm trying to convince Ciara to have a fifth," he told E! News. "Cinco, you got to be on the way soon."
The couple married in 2016.
