Ciao Hospitality Group Steps In to Save Some Fireman Restaurants
The lesser-known Ciao Hospitality Group will acquire several locations from the bankrupt Fireman Hospitality Group, while others face closure.
Ciao Hospitality Group, a relatively new player in the restaurant industry, is set to take over several locations formerly owned by the bankrupt Fireman Hospitality Group. This move follows a report that highlighted the acquisition by the lesser-known Ciao Hospitality Group.
While Landry’s Inc., owned by Tilman Fertitta, has acquired the more successful Trattoria dell’ Arte, Fiorello’s, and Bond 45, Ciao Hospitality Group will assume ownership of Paris Bar, two Brooklyn Diner locations, and Brooklyn Deli. Locations in Washington, D.C., and National Harbor, Maryland, were not acquired by either group and are slated for closure this month.
Ciao Hospitality Group was founded in 2024 by Jeff Crivello and Charles Davidson. The Illinois-based company operates casual dining brands across the country, including Cowboy Jack’s, Sally’s Saloon, and Berry Divine Acai Bowls. According to Ciao’s website, the company's vision is to "rejuvenate exceptional brands and propel their sustained long-term growth."
