CIA Psychic Spy Claims Vision of Ancient Martian Civilization's Demise

In May 1984, a CIA operative identified as 'Brady' reportedly used astral projection to travel to Mars, where he claimed to witness the final moments of an ancient, thriving civilization.

Brady described the experience as "heartbreaking and drastic," recounting a vision of beings on Mars panicking as a "celestial body" hurtled towards the planet. He then described a "giant wave" emerging from the horizon that engulfed everything. These details closely mirror accounts from Joe McMoneagle, a prominent remote viewer from the CIA's Project Stargate.

Project Stargate, a U.S. military program active in the 1970s and 1980s, explored the potential of "remote viewing" – a psychic ability to perceive information from distant locations. McMoneagle, considered the agency's most skilled remote viewer, was tasked in 1984 with psychically visiting Mars approximately one million years BC. He reportedly focused on the Cydonia Mensae region, an area known for the "Face on Mars" formation.

According to now-declassified reports, McMoneagle described seeing "pyramid or pyramid form" structures and an "okra colored" landscape. When instructed to "move in time," his visions shifted to a dying alien race. He described seeing "a shadow of people, very tall... thin," suggesting a once-present civilization that was no longer there.

McMoneagle's remote viewing transcripts also mentioned pyramid structures, carved canyons, obelisks, dust storms, and atmospheric breakdown, leading him to speculate that the inhabitants may have been preparing to leave Mars.

In the years since McMoneagle's purported vision, others have come forward with similar accounts. Brady, in an interview, described the Martian city he saw as resembling Dubai, with a summer-day atmosphere similar to England. He described the inhabitants as being six to seven feet tall, slim, with pale blueish skin.

Courtney Brown, an associate professor of political science at Emory University, has also detailed visions of Mars in his books. Brown, who claimed to have conducted extensive remote viewing experiments on Mars, described seeing a civilization with prominent eyes and delicate bone structures. He also reported a catastrophic event that befell the Martian society, suggesting survivors might have relocated elsewhere in the solar system.

McMoneagle's earlier remote viewing sessions gained attention for their perceived accuracy. One notable instance involved his description of a new Soviet submarine class, the Typhoon, which was later confirmed by defense officials. His alleged visions of a Martian civilization and its demise continue to be a subject of discussion among those interested in parapsychology and extraterrestrial life.
