New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez has seemingly confirmed a relationship with influencer Juliana Alvarado. Alvarado shared photos from the sideline of the Patriots' recent victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, wearing a custom jacket adorned with Gonzalez's number 0.
Gonzalez commented on Alvarado's post with "HER!", to which she responded with a "mwah" and a love heart emoji, further fueling speculation about their relationship.
This development follows a significant professional achievement for Gonzalez, who recently signed a record-breaking contract extension with the Patriots. The deal, valued at $135 million over four years with $102 million guaranteed, makes him the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history. This surpasses the previous record set just a month prior by Devon Witherspoon.
Gonzalez, a former No. 17 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, has earned All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors in his three seasons. Contract negotiations had extended through the offseason, with Gonzalez expressing frustration over the lack of progress before the agreement was reached less than 48 hours before a Super Bowl rematch against the Seattle Seahawks.
Gonzalez was playing under his rookie contract, which stipulated a base salary of $2.25 million for the current season, with $18.1 million in the final year of 2027. Despite missing parts of the offseason program due to minor injuries, including a two-week absence in August, he has been participating in training camp.
His career has included playing in 36 regular-season games, starting all of them, and four playoff starts. He missed the end of his rookie season with a dislocated right shoulder and torn labrum, and the first three games of the last season due to a hamstring injury sustained in training camp.
