Chrissy Teigen has defended her decision to post a series of photos where she is wearing a sheer top that bares her chest. The model, responding to online commentary, stated that she does not view images of her breasts as overtly sexual, particularly given their history.

In a comment on her Instagram post, Teigen explained her personal perspective. "I think because they have been cut into disks and reattached to my body like three times and also they’ve fed babies and stuff, I really don’t think of nips (mine especially) as sexy or risqué but my apologies if you do," she wrote. She added a lighthearted remark to critics, saying, "I hope u will survive it. Almost sure u will. Love u so much."

Teigen's explanation came after her post, featuring photos by fashion designer Yu Tsa, garnered a range of reactions. Some followers criticized the images, with comments including "Who wants attention??" and "Girl put a bra on omg." Others suggested celebrities seek too much attention or that Teigen was too old for such photos.

However, the model also received support from fans who praised the images. Comments such as "Classy and beautiful… no shame momma" and "Beautiful pictures! End of discussion" were posted.

Teigen's husband, John Legend, offered his support by commenting a heart-eyed emoji on her post.

In previous discussions about her body, Teigen, a mother of four, has spoken about breast augmentation. She told Glamour UK in August 2020 that she initially had a breast augmentation at age 20 for aesthetic reasons when posing for photos. She later noted that after having children, her breasts changed significantly.

Teigen has also publicly shared that she has undergone multiple breast surgeries. In January 2024, she stated on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" that she had undergone a lift, implants, and removal, expressing a preference for not having implants. She has mentioned having had her breasts done three times.
