Chrishell Stause and G Flip Never Legally Married, Sources Claim Amid Split

Reality television star Chrishell Stause and her nonbinary ex-partner G Flip, an Australian musician born Georgia Claire Flipo, reportedly never legally finalized their marriage despite holding several ceremonies. The couple, who announced their split this week, exchanged vows in Las Vegas in May 2023 in a ceremony that sources claim was not legally binding.

Insiders told TMZ that Stause, 45, and G Flip, 33, never signed the necessary paperwork to make their union official. The couple reportedly held a total of four wedding ceremonies during their relationship. One of these included a medieval-themed celebration in Los Angeles in July 2025, attended by guests such as celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton.

Stause publicly announced their separation on Instagram via an emotional video, stating, "G and I are no longer together, and we have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other." She also shared that she did not yet have all the information or reasons for their breakup, adding that she felt "like a little bit of a failure" after the dissolution of her second marriage.

"I’m definitely never doing this again," Stause said in the video, "but I just felt like you guys deserved a little bit more than a cold written statement because you have been so supportive and so loving, and we really appreciate that."

Stause, who was previously married to actor Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021, expressed her enduring affection for G Flip. "I will always love G, and I don’t ever really see that changing," she said. "And this sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy, and I wish that for both of us."

G Flip responded to the announcement with a statement shared via screenshot, writing, "After 4+ years Chrishell and I are no longer together. I will always love her, we will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply." They added that their "head & heart are feeling very heavy right now" and requested privacy during this difficult time.

The couple first revealed their relationship in May 2022. G Flip enlisted Stause to appear in their music video for the song "Get Me Outta Here" in 2022. Their ceremonies included a vow renewal in Palm Springs in July 2023, another in G Flip's native Australia in July 2024, and the medieval-themed event in Los Angeles in July 2025.
