Chris Pratt and his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger were seen with their children at a Fourth of July parade in Montecito, California, on Saturday. The couple, married in 2019, have three young children: Lyla, Eloise, and Ford. Pratt also has a 13-year-old son, Jack, with his former wife, Anna Faris.

The public appearance comes weeks after Faris spoke candidly about the emotional toll of her divorce from Pratt. In a recent interview, Faris described her sadness and the scrutiny she experienced following their separation in 2017. She noted that her advice podcast, 'Unqualified,' provided an outlet for her during that period.

Pratt and Schwarzenegger, alongside their children, were observed participating in a procession that also included Katherine's brother Patrick Schwarzenegger and his wife Abby Champion. Pratt, 47, wore a patriotic-themed t-shirt and shorts, while Schwarzenegger, daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, sported a Stars and Stripes t-shirt and cap.

Faris and Pratt, who eloped in 2009, welcomed Jack in 2012. They announced their separation in 2017 and finalized their divorce the following year. Both have since moved on: Pratt married Schwarzenegger, and Faris married cinematographer Michael Barrett in 2021.

This marks a period of public reflection for Faris, who had largely kept the details of her divorce private. She detailed the emotional difficulty, stating, "I do feel like I had enough gumption, enough of a core, and I have tried to be careful about how much Hollywood infiltrates, but now I’ve been on a spectrum of fame for 26 years, so I would be naïve to think that it hasn’t shaped who I am at this point. But, f***. The scrutiny."

Pratt has previously faced public scrutiny himself. In 2021, an Instagram post praising Katherine was interpreted by some as a subtle jab at Jack, who experienced health issues after a premature birth. Pratt later discussed the impact of this backlash, admitting it deeply bothered him and that he cried over the situation.
