Chris Martin was seen sporting a 'life rolls on' cap as he left a meeting in London, marking his first public appearance since reports emerged of his ex-girlfriend, Dakota Johnson, spending time with Machine Gun Kelly.
Johnson, 36, was reportedly seen with the musician, also 36, at a mutual friend's New York apartment, leading to speculation about a new romance. The pair were allegedly seen at Taylor Swift's apartment before reportedly heading to a nearby hotel for an overnight stay. Swift was reportedly out of town at the time.
Johnson and Martin, 49, ended their eight-year relationship last summer. Following their split, Johnson dated musician Tucker Pillsbury for approximately eight months before their reported breakup last month. Reports suggest Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly met at the recent Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce event at Madison Square Garden.
Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, was previously in a relationship with actress Megan Fox. They reportedly ended their four-and-a-half-year relationship last year, with Fox welcoming a daughter, Saga, with him in March. Despite their breakup, a source indicated last year that Fox was impressed by Martin's involvement with their child.
Johnson had a flirty appearance on Pillsbury's third studio album, Chuck Timely & the Hourglass. In the track 'Love I You,' Pillsbury is heard saying, 'Hey, I think you're perfect,' to which Johnson replies, 'You say that to everyone.' Pillsbury then asks, 'Okay, well, is it working?' and Johnson responds, 'Yeah. But don't tell anyone.'
