Chris Hemsworth's Daughter India Wins Local Rodeo Competition
The 14-year-old bull rider secured a victory in an all-boy competition, earning praise from her father.
Chris Hemsworth shared a proud moment on Thursday, posting a video of his 14-year-old daughter India winning a local rodeo competition. India competed in a bull riding event, successfully staying on a bucking bull for nine seconds before a successful dismount, ultimately securing a victory in a field of male competitors.
"Just wanna say my daughter is a savage," Hemsworth captioned the footage on Instagram. "Only girl in the comp and took home the win," he added, accompanied by a bulging bicep emoji and a red heart.
In a clip filmed before the final round, Hemsworth can be heard encouraging India, referring to her as a "champion bull rider." When she questioned the required eight seconds for a successful ride, he jokingly responded, "Eight seconds, what do I know?"
The post garnered congratulatory comments from various figures, including Jasmine Stefanovic, Kyly Clarke, Bec Judd, and Jessie Murphy.
This personal triumph comes as Hemsworth's professional life has seen recent shifts. His production company, Wild State, which he co-founded with Benjamin Grayson in 2022, has reportedly ceased operations. Employees were notified of payouts through the end of 2026, and the company's website is now inactive. Reports suggest Hemsworth closed the company to concentrate on more lucrative film opportunities, with Page Six describing the decision as a "life choice."
Despite these changes, Hemsworth secured a significant deal in July for two upcoming Avengers films, reportedly worth $57 million.
