Chris Hemsworth Celebrates Daughter India's Bull-Riding Victory
The actor shared a video of his 14-year-old daughter winning an all-boys bull-riding competition.
Chris Hemsworth is expressing pride after his 14-year-old daughter, India, secured a win in a bull-riding competition that included only male participants. Hemsworth shared a video on Instagram showing India riding a bucking bull for nine seconds before being thrown off, an effort that was sufficient to clinch the victory.
"Just wanna say my daughter is a savage," Hemsworth captioned the post. "Only girl in the comp and took home the win. proud moment."
The video captured India entering the ring as an announcer introduced her, followed by her ride on the bull amidst cheers from onlookers. In a separate clip, Hemsworth can be heard encouraging his daughter, asking if she would manage to stay on for the required eight seconds.
India’s performance also drew attention from fans online, with some commenting on the relatable aspect of teenage daughters being embarrassed by their fathers. However, the post also sparked a discussion regarding the sport's safety and ethical considerations, with some commenters raising concerns about animal cruelty.
This is not the first time India has showcased an adventurous spirit. In November, Hemsworth posted images and videos of her riding a dirt bike and jumping over a hill, captioning it, "My girl absolutely sending it last weekend!"
Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, also have twin sons, Sasha and Tristan, who are 12 years old. India is the only daughter in the family.
