Chloe Pink Reveals Embryo Transfer Was Unsuccessful Amid IVF Journey

AFL WAG Chloe Pink, 26, and North Melbourne defender Toby Pink, 28, announced on Wednesday that their first embryo transfer during their IVF journey was unsuccessful.

"Unfortunately, we've just found out that our little embryo didn't stick, meaning our transfer wasn't successful," Chloe shared in a lengthy Instagram post. "Obviously, this has been incredibly disheartening and heartbreaking, but unfortunately, it's also the reality of this journey."

The couple had announced on Saturday that they had officially undergone their first embryo transfer. Chloe explained they delayed sharing the initial post to process the outcome privately.

Chloe stated they are unsure whether they will attempt another transfer soon or take a break. "We're just taking things as they come," she said. She also expressed gratitude for the support they have received.

"I know some people might think we're oversharing, but at the end of the day, infertility is something so many people experience, yet it's still something that isn't spoken about enough," Chloe wrote. "If sharing our journey helps make infertility even slightly less taboo, or makes just one person going through it feel a little less alone, then I'll continue to share the good, the bad and everything in between."

Chloe Pink has previously spoken openly about her struggles with endometriosis and polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS). In August, she discussed her fertility issues and IVF journey, describing it as consuming and an emotional rollercoaster, but expressed hope for eventual pregnancy.

"It's so consuming. You have appointments every day. You have injections every day. You have needles every day. You're waiting on answers every day," she said. "You're crossing your fingers every day. It's so consuming. It consumes your whole entire life."

She added, "You just have so much going on with it that it's so consuming. And also it's a rollercoaster... You have hope and then your hope is shattered." Despite the setback, she expressed optimism for the future, saying, "I know we'll have a child. Hopefully more than one."
