Chloe Madeley celebrated her 39th birthday with an amicable family lunch alongside her ex-husband James Haskell and their three-year-old daughter, Bodhi. The outing occurred two years after the couple's split in 2023, following five years of marriage.

Madeley, the daughter of television personalities Richard and Judy, shared moments from the celebration on social media. The fitness influencer posted photos of herself, Haskell, and their daughter enjoying an outdoor meal, with Bodhi seen between her parents.

This friendly reunion comes after Madeley previously described their marital separation as the "worst breakup imaginable," detailing the "trauma and toxicity" involved. However, she has also spoken about their journey to reach a respectful co-parenting dynamic.

"Me and my ex husband, as much as we had the worst breakup imaginable when our marriage fell apart, we've managed to co-parent respectfully throughout all the trauma and toxicity, and it was a lot," Madeley said on the No Parental Guidance podcast. She expressed surprise at their ability to form a new bond and friendship after such a difficult period.

Madeley indicated that one of the primary reasons for the marriage's breakdown was the desire to shield their daughter from parental conflict. "One of the reasons I left my marriage was because it was so bad, it was becoming harder and harder to keep it from her and she was only a baby," she explained.

Recently, Haskell's mother, Susie, made critical remarks about Madeley during her appearance on the television show Celebs Go Dating. Susie Haskell commented on her son's previous relationships and offered her opinion on why the marriage ended, suggesting incompatibility.

In response, Madeley appeared to allude to her mother-in-law's comments in a cryptic Instagram post about dealing with "other people's cr**."

Haskell himself is participating in the current season of Celebs Go Dating with the hope of finding a new partner. He mentioned that Madeley encouraged him to join the show, underscoring their continued supportive relationship as friends and co-parents. "I was on the fence, and she encouraged me to go for it. She’s a good friend and my co-parent, and we’re very transparent with each other," Haskell stated.

Madeley and Haskell tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed Bodhi in 2022. Despite the end of their marriage, they are focused on maintaining a constructive co-parenting relationship for their daughter's well-being.
