Chloe Lewis and Dan Edgar, stars of the reality television show "The Only Way Is Essex" (TOWIE), have been photographed together for the first time since beginning their relationship in June of last year. The images emerged from a night out at the Tonic Terrace in the Hilton Bournemouth, where staff shared pictures of the couple on the venue's Instagram account.
The caption accompanying the photos read, "Amazing to have @chloelewis91 & @danedgar pop in and see us on Saturday night. Hope you enjoyed your cocktails and come back and see us soon!"
Lewis, 35, and Edgar, 36, reportedly found love at a wedding in Mallorca in June of the previous year, though they had known each other for many years through the show and the Essex social scene. Despite their public profiles, the couple has largely kept their romance private, only alluding to their relationship until these recent photographs.
Lewis, who was on TOWIE from 2015 to 2019, appeared in a white bustier and jeans. Edgar is noted for having recently marked 11 years as a cast member on the program. Lewis previously had an on-off relationship with her childhood sweetheart Jake Hall, who tragically passed away in May.
Edgar's past relationships on the show include Kate Ferdinand and Amber Turner. He also dated Ella Rae Wise before beginning his relationship with Lewis, who is a mother to a six-year-old son named Beau from a previous relationship with Danny Fisher.
In previous comments regarding filming with an ex, Edgar stated, "The stuff with Ella is a lot more recent, so naturally, it's not ideal being away with your ex... It came to light that she was still quite upset about a lot of stuff. It's not nice, I don't like seeing anyone upset. It was a tough situation to be in... I'm with someone else now and to be out there and see someone else upset and still trying to manage a friendship."
When discussing their union in April, prior to the confirmation of their relationship, Edgar mentioned Lewis's understanding nature, noting, "She's very understanding and very grown up as a person anyway. She's done the show before and she's understanding of how it all works... I'm happy with how it is at the moment and it being separate. I'm in a good place with it all. Things are going well at the moment."
Sources close to Edgar had previously indicated his desire to settle down, with one stating, "Dan has always fancied Chloe, he thinks she's beautiful and is desperate to settle down. He'd told friends that he wanted the next girl he dates to be The One."
