Three-time Olympic medalist Chloe Kim has revealed how her boyfriend, Los Angeles Rams edge rusher Myles Garrett, reacted to her recent Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) diagnosis. Kim spoke about the experience, sharing Garrett's supportive response and how their relationship has continued since her diagnosis.

Kim publicly disclosed her ADHD diagnosis earlier in the month. She discussed the impact of the diagnosis on her life in an interview, detailing the period before and after receiving it. Garrett, who has been dating Kim prior to her diagnosis, was privy to her life both before and after the identification of her ADHD.

"He was so supportive when I got diagnosed," Kim said. "He was like, ‘This actually makes a lot of sense for you. I’m proud of you for doing that, and getting the help.'"

Kim characterized Garrett as the quieter partner in their relationship, contrasting with her own more talkative nature. She recounted an anecdote where Garrett expressed missing her presence when she was away, saying, "I do miss your voice bouncing off the walls. I do miss hearing you talk about all the random things."

Regarding their daily life, Kim noted that her diagnosis has led to small adjustments, such as ensuring Garrett receives specific items he requests, like cookies. She humorously recounted a time she returned from the store with cheese, which Garrett dislikes, instead of the cookies he wanted, leading to visible disappointment on his face.

"Nothing’s changed that much," Kim stated about their relationship post-diagnosis. "I think that I’m just able to get the things I need to get done. Sometimes that involves him."
