Child and Adult Killed After Vehicle Plunges Into Wichita Soccer Game
Multiple other injuries reported as driver taken into custody.

A child and an adult died Saturday afternoon when a vehicle drove into a soccer game in Wichita, Kansas, according to police. Multiple other individuals sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
First responders arrived at the Stryker Soccer Complex shortly after 3:25 p.m. CT following numerous 911 calls. The unidentified victims were pronounced dead at the scene, Wichita Police Department Capt. Aaron Moses told reporters at a briefing. The driver is in custody, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
"This is a tragedy," Moses stated.
