Chick-fil-A is launching a limited fall menu to commemorate its 80th anniversary, featuring the return of its Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches and new S'mores-inspired desserts.

The "newstalgia"-themed menu aims to evoke familiar and comforting flavors, according to Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging for Chick-fil-A.

"In this year of Newstalgia-inspired celebrations, we wanted to bring something unique this fall by reimagining the comforting flavors our Guests crave this time of year, delivering a taste that feels both familiar and new to appeal to all ages," Duncan said.

The Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches, which were previously tested in 2025, are available starting August 24 and will be served throughout the day. The sandwich includes maple-flavored waffles, bacon strips, honey butter spread, and a side of syrup. Customers can choose between the original, spicy, or grilled chicken options.

The sandwich is offered in two sizes: a smaller filet and waffle during standard breakfast hours (6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.) and a larger version for lunch and dinner service (10:30 a.m. until close).

To complement the sandwich, Chick-fil-A is also introducing S'mores Milkshakes and S'mores Frosted Coffees. The milkshake is made with the chain's "Icedream" dessert, chocolate shortbread, graham cracker crumbles, and marshmallow-flavored syrup and whipped topping. The frosted coffee incorporates similar campfire-inspired flavors with cold brew.

These fall additions have generated excitement among fans, with social media reactions highlighting the return of the chicken and waffles. The limited-time menu also coincides with other fast-food chains bringing back popular items, such as McDonald's Spicy Chicken McNuggets and Mighty Hot Sauce.
