Kim Kardashian's eight-year-old daughter, Chicago, was pictured bonding with the family's new puppy, Halo, in recent Instagram photos shared by the reality star. The puppy, a Golden Retriever, was gifted to Kardashian's four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—by her boyfriend, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton.
Hamilton revealed the gift during a press event ahead of the F1 Grand Prix in Austin, Texas. When asked about sources of joy outside of racing, he mentioned spending time with Kardashian's children and confessed, "I got them a dog this year, so little Halo is a new member of that family."
Kardashian's family has had Halo for several months, with the puppy first appearing in an Instagram post from late July. Hamilton also shared a glimpse of Halo in a September Instagram post. A year prior, Hamilton had shared the news of his English Bulldog, Roscoe, passing away, describing the decision to euthanize him as the "hardest decision" of his life.
Kardashian's Instagram post also included other snapshots of recent family activities, including photos of her and Chicago, a picture from a ride at Universal Studios' Fast & Furious attraction, and a moment with costar Naomi Watts on set. The post also featured photos of Kardashian with her mother, Kris Jenner, showcasing various outfits. These updates follow Kardashian's recent reflections on her final conversation with her late father, Robert Kardashian, who passed away in 2003.
