Chewy Launches Fresh Dog Food Delivery Service

Chewy has expanded its offerings with the introduction of 'Get Real,' a fresh food delivery subscription service designed to provide dogs with nutritious, minimally-processed meals. The service features pre-portioned packs of recipes formulated with 10 human-grade ingredients by certified pet nutritionists.

Customers can opt to use the fresh food as a supplement to their dog's regular diet or as a complete replacement. The meals require refrigeration or freezing before serving. The subscription model allows for customized plans, offering flexibility in delivery frequency, including the option to skip shipments.

Available recipes include Chicken & Brussel Sprouts, Beef & Sweet Potato, and Turkey & Cranberry. These meals are vacuum-sealed and shipped in insulated boxes with dry ice for preservation. Chewy also offers five-ounce sample packs for pet owners who wish to try the fresh food option before committing to a subscription.

Shipping for the Get Real service is free. The New York Post highlights Chewy's commitment to providing practical shopping guidance, emphasizing its process of researching, testing, and analyzing products to offer reliable recommendations.
