Cheryl Lands Reported £500K Deal Amid TV Comeback
The singer is reportedly set to front a new Deliveroo campaign, following her signing as a coach on The Voice UK.
Cheryl, the 43-year-old singer, has reportedly secured a £500,000 deal to star in a new advertising campaign for the food delivery service Deliveroo. This reported agreement comes as the former Girls Aloud member continues her television comeback, having recently been announced as a coach for the upcoming series of The Voice UK.
A source told The Sun that Deliveroo executives are pleased to have Cheryl involved, describing her as "a dream to work with and has a huge fanbase." Should this deal materialize, Cheryl would join a list of celebrities who have previously featured in Deliveroo campaigns, including Abbey Clancy, Peter Crouch, Danny Dyer, and Alan Carr.
Cheryl made a recent appearance on The Voice UK during its Battle Rounds, where she assisted long-time collaborator Will.i.am in coaching contestants. Her participation was met with positive reactions from viewers on social media platforms like X, with many expressing happiness at seeing her back on television.
This marks a return to television for Cheryl after a period away from the public eye. The new series of The Voice UK will also feature Stacey Solomon and Alesha Dixon as hosts, replacing Emma Willis who has taken on a presenting role for Strictly Come Dancing. The departure of Tom Jones from his coaching role on The Voice UK had previously generated controversy, with Jones stating that ITV made the decision due to financial reasons related to insurance.
