Cheri Oteri, a beloved alumna of "Saturday Night Live," announced Tuesday that she has completed her radiation treatment for breast cancer. The 63-year-old comedian shared the news on Instagram, posting a video of herself ringing a bell four times to mark the occasion. "I'm healthy and feeling so much gratitude," Oteri wrote.

Oteri shared footage from the Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California, expressing thanks to her surgeon, Dr. Janie Weng Grumley, and Dr. Sherry Ross, described as a "champion of all things women's health." The comedian also received well-wishes from fellow "SNL" veterans Vanessa Bayer, Rachel Dratch, and Bobby Moynihan, as well as friends Rosie O'Donnell, Christina Ricci, Matt Bomer, and Judd Apatow.

Her diagnosis of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), a condition where abnormal cells are confined to the milk ducts, came just four months ago. Oteri underwent surgery on April 26. Oteri was still wrapping her head around the diagnosis when she met Dr. Jill Biden (second to right in the front row) on April 8 at an 'incredible dinner' organized by the non-profit think tank the Milken Institute

Oteri recalled meeting Dr. Jill Biden at a Milken Institute dinner on April 8, while still processing her diagnosis. "She said, 'All right, you're gonna get tired of me.' And she says, 'I'm going through this with you,'" Oteri shared on the "Dear Chelsea" podcast on June 10. She described the former First Lady as a "woman with a huge heart" who provided continuous support. "I've never felt so supported," Oteri added.

The illness has not significantly impacted Oteri's career. She recently reprised her role as reporter Gail Hailstorm in the slasher parody "Scary Movie," which grossed $231.4 million worldwide against a $30 million budget. Additionally, Oteri is expected to reprise her recurring role as health inspector Monica Ulrich in the third season of Reba McEntire's sitcom "Happy's Place," slated to premiere October 23 on NBC. During her tenure on "Saturday Night Live" from 1995 to 2000, Oteri was known for her impressions of Barbara Walters and her "Spartan Cheerleader" character.
