Chelsea continued their positive pre-season campaign under manager Xabi Alonso with a 3-0 victory against League One side Bromley in a behind-closed-doors friendly held at Cobham.

Joao Pedro opened his pre-season account, with Jamie Gittens and new signing Emmanuel Emegha also finding the back of the net. Emegha, who joined Chelsea from sister club Strasbourg this summer, has now scored in both of the team's pre-season matches. Gittens was also a scorer in Chelsea's previous friendly, a 3-1 win against Crawley Town.

Alonso has now won his first two unofficial matches as Chelsea's manager. While several players are still to return from the World Cup and subsequent breaks, Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro have been present at Cobham during this period.

New arrival Emmanuel Emegha has started brightly at Chelsea - scoring in both pre-season games thus far
