Chelsea Field, an actress who gained prominence in the 1980s science fiction film "Masters of the Universe," has maintained a glamorous presence at 69. Field, who is married to Golden Globe winner Scott Bakula, was recently seen looking as stylish as ever in Los Angeles.

Field began her career as a dancer on the 1980s music show "Solid Gold." Her early acting roles included a small part in the 1985 film "Perfect," starring John Travolta and Jamie Lee Curtis. Her breakthrough came with her portrayal of warrior goddess Teela in the 1987 cult classic "Masters of the Universe," alongside Dolph Lundgren and Courteney Cox. Although the film was a box office disappointment, it has since acquired a dedicated following.

In the 1991 film "The Last Boy Scout," Field played the wife of Bruce Willis's character. She also had a role in "Harley Davidson And The Marlboro Man" the same year. Earlier in her career, she appeared in horror films such as "Prison" (1987) and "Death Spa" (1989).

Field took on a role in the 1989 medical drama "Nightingales," which generated controversy for its focus on the personal lives of student nurses and was later re-conceptualized as "University Hospital." She also starred in the 1993 film "Snapdragon" with Pamela Anderson and the 1992 horror western "Dust Devil."

Field met Scott Bakula in 1993 while filming the thriller "A Passion To Kill." The couple, who share two sons, married in 2009 after a long-term relationship. Bakula is widely recognized for his roles in the science fiction series "Quantum Leap," for which he won a Golden Globe, and "Star Trek: Enterprise."

More recently, Field was a part of the cast of "NCIS: New Orleans," where she played Rita Deveraux, the long-term girlfriend of Dwayne Cassius Pride, a role portrayed by her husband. Her appearances on the show spanned from 2014 to 2021. Field has largely stepped away from acting in recent years, with her last on-screen appearance being in 2021.
