Chelsea Becirevic Criticizes Lachie Neale Amidst Cheating Scandal
AFL WAG Chelsea Becirevic voices support for Lachie Neale's ex-wife Jules, stating "it is always the boy's fault."
AFL WAG Chelsea Becirevic has publicly criticized Australian Rules Football star Lachie Neale, aligning herself with his ex-wife Jules Neale in the wake of a cheating scandal that reportedly ended Neale's marriage and a friendship.
Becirevic, attending Derby Day at Flemington Racecourse with partner Ivan Soldo, stated her strong support for Jules Neale. "We have got to remember not to blame the girl. It is always the boy's fault," Becirevic told the Daily Mail. "I don't know her personally, but she's so beautiful. I'm 100 percent Team Jules! Well, I'm Team anything that is not him!"
Despite her stance on Neale, Becirevic indicated she held no ill will toward his new girlfriend, Emma Field, calling the situation a "shame."
The Melbourne Cup Carnival was anticipated to be a public forum for Neale and Field, who were scheduled to attend the G.H. Mumm marquee. However, the couple did not appear, despite being on the guest list. Neale's ex-wife, Jules, is expected to attend later in the week.
Neale and Field have been dating for approximately six months, with Field appearing at Brisbane Lions matches since July. Neale's marriage to Jules Neale reportedly ended late last year following allegations of an affair involving her former friend, Tess Crosley. Jules Neale has since returned to Perth with their two children, while Lachie Neale has signed a three-year deal with Collingwood after eight seasons with the Brisbane Lions.
Neale has publicly apologized for letting down his family, and Jules Neale has spoken about the impact of the alleged betrayal. Both have made public appearances on the social circuit, with Field increasingly seen alongside Neale.
