Four vulnerable cheetah cubs were captured in playful moments at Lunaret Zoo in Montpellier, France.
Four cheetah cubs are exploring their surroundings at the Lunaret Zoo in Montpellier, southern France, with their mother, Bastet. The cubs were photographed engaging in playful activities, including jumping on grass and climbing on fallen tree branches within their enclosure.
In a series of images, the cubs are seen curiously investigating their environment. One picture shows them gathered together, heads tilted as they observe their surroundings. Another captures one cub sitting in a white bucket, with only its head and paws visible.
Cheetahs are classified as a vulnerable species, with an estimated 7,000 to 10,000 individuals remaining in the wild. The birth of these four cubs is considered a welcome addition to the species' population.
The cubs, born in captivity, were observed actively exploring, climbing, and interacting within their habitat, showcasing their natural curiosity and development under their mother's care.
