A group of Charlie Kirk supporters has launched a Change.org petition asking Starbucks to memorialize the late conservative activist by permanently adding his signature drink order to menus nationwide. The petition, titled Get Charlie Kirk's Starbucks Order On Every Starbucks Menu, went live on Sept. 14 and calls on the company to name a drink after him—either a Kirk Special or The Charlie Kirk—and to feature his preferred order, mint majesty tea with two honeys.

As of Sept. 17, the petition had accrued 61 signatures and a handful of comments from supporters who described Kirk as someone whose legacy should be remembered. The organizers framed the petition as a tribute to Kirk’s “legacy of courage, conviction and love for this country,” signaling that the effort is less about a favor to a public figure and more about a symbolic remembrance.

Two Starbucks cups were photographed near Kirk moments before he was fatally shot on Sept. 10, a detail that has amplified the petition’s premise for some supporters who view the drink as an iconic part of his public persona. Supporters say memorializing the order would offer a recognizable, everyday reminder of Kirk’s presence in political discourse.

A resurfaced Turning Point USA video shows Kirk explaining his go-to order. In the clip, he responds to a student’s question about his Starbucks order by describing mint majesty tea served with two honeys and notes that he drinks the beverage frequently to keep his voice. He is heard saying that he drinks like nine of them a day to preserve his vocal capacity. The video has circulated online as part of a broader posthumous focus on his routine and persona.

Fox News Digital reached out to Starbucks for comment; the company did not respond to a request for comment on the petition or the matter more generally.

Starbucks told Fox News Digital that there is no policy against writing a customer’s name on a cup and that the company is seeking to understand what occurred at a store in Yucaipa, California, where a barista was reportedly asked to use Kirk’s name on an order but declined. The store’s handling, and whether any policy was violated, remains under review.

The petition’s proponents point to social-media posts that portrayed the store incident as evidence of a broader trend, though the accounts have not been independently verified. One TikTok post described a separate encounter in which a Starbucks employee refused to put Kirk’s name on a cup, with the employee allegedly saying they do not honor politics in store naming. Those issues, however, are separate from the petition’s aim to memorialize the drink order itself.

The campaign underscores how supporters want to enshrine Kirk’s memory in everyday routines, using a commonplace act—ordering a coffee or tea—as a lasting tribute. Whether Starbucks will entertain the suggestion remains unclear, and no official corporate policy change has been announced. The petition continues to collect signatures as of mid-September, reflecting continued public interest in how political figures are remembered in popular culture.

The developing story sits at the intersection of politics, public memory and everyday consumer culture, illustrating how supporters seek to translate a public figure’s identity into a familiar, recurring gesture. As discussions continue, Starbucks’ stance and any potential internal review or policy guidance will be watched by observers across the political spectrum who are tracking how brands navigate high-profile political legacies.
