Charles Dance Discusses Incident With Police Following London Bike Crash

Game of Thrones star Charles Dance was observed speaking with police officers on Saturday following a collision involving a Lime e-bike and a Lexus in Kentish Town, north London. The 79-year-old actor was seen in discussion with an officer wearing forensic gloves who was typing on a laptop.

A Lexus with visible damage to its bumper was present at the scene. The collision occurred on Gaisford Street.

Dance was pictured near a woman who was on the ground and receiving assistance from passers-by while awaiting emergency services. An ambulance was also at the location, and paramedics treated the woman at the scene before transporting her to a local hospital for a leg injury.

A witness, who was in a nearby coffee shop, described hearing a loud impact. "It was an almighty thump," the witness stated. "There was this girl on the floor, and the Lexus was badly damaged. She was on a Lime bike."

The witness added that the woman, who appeared young, was visibly upset and shocked. "She was conscious, but when she tried to get up she collapsed and was just lying there." The witness noted that Dance moved the woman's handbag, and it was at that point the onlookers realized his identity. "She was in a state of shock. She was injured - we could see her leg was bleeding. Charles looked like he couldn't believe it."

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service confirmed they were called at 11:05 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, to reports of a road traffic collision on Kentish Town Road, NW5. "We sent an ambulance crew that treated a woman at the scene before taking her to a local hospital," the spokesperson said.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Lime and representatives for Dance for comment. The Metropolitan Police typically do not comment on non-fatal road traffic collisions.

Charles Dance is known for his role as Tywin Lannister in the HBO series Game of Thrones, appearing in 27 episodes between 2011 and 2015.
