Charissa Thompson, host of "Thursday Night Football," experienced a painful wardrobe malfunction at the recent Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce wedding, she revealed on her "Calm Down" podcast with Erin Andrews.

The jewel-adorned golden gown Thompson wore for the event at Madison Square Garden proved to be problematic. According to Thompson, the prongs holding the dress's jewels began to cut her arms as she danced throughout the night. "The dress was great, however, you know there’s prongs on the jewel?" Thompson explained on the podcast. "Like a ring — like a setting.

"So, the prongs were holding in all of the individual jewels. Which is like, great. And the dress was super heavy and I loved the way it looked and everything. However, halfway through the night, I’m looking and my forearms are bleeding. It was scraping the prongs on my arms. So it was slicing them open."

Adding to the discomfort, Thompson noted that the dress also caused damage to her boyfriend Steven Cundari's tuxedo. "Each prong," she said, "would grab a little bit of his tuxedo."

Despite the wardrobe issues, both Thompson and Andrews indicated that the dress and the overall event were worthwhile. Andrews commented that Thompson looked "gorgeous."

The wedding took place on July 3 in New York City. Taylor Swift's brother, Austin, served as the man of honor, while Travis Kelce's brother, Jason, was the best man. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler, and the event was attended by hundreds of athletes and celebrities.
