Prosecutors have decided not to pursue domestic violence charges against Chance Hogan, the son of "Crocodile Dundee" star Paul Hogan. The Los Angeles City Attorney's Office reviewed the case and will not bring criminal charges.

Chance Hogan was arrested on May 1 at his father's Venice residence after police responded to a domestic disturbance call. Officers observed Paul Hogan and an unidentified woman speaking with police outside the home. Chance Hogan had reportedly left the scene prior to police arrival.

He was subsequently located and booked on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery, with bail set at $20,000. However, the City Attorney's Office's decision means he will not face prosecution.

While the criminal charges have been dropped, the notes mention past concerning behavior from Chance Hogan. In a private Instagram post last year, he appeared to express suicidal ideation while drinking, stating, "Please kill me. I’m begging you." He is also the lead singer of the punk rock band Rowdy P.

Paul Hogan, 85, is best known for his role as Mick Dundee in the "Crocodile Dundee" film trilogy and for his role in "Almost an Angel." He has six children, five from his first marriage and Chance from his second marriage.
