Singer Chappell Roan has ventured into DJing, marking her debut at MISTR's 2nd Annual National PrEP Day held at The Abbey in West Hollywood.

The 28-year-old artist, known for hits like "Pink Pony Club" and "The Subway," also showcased a new aesthetic for the event, trading her signature red curls for blunt bangs and straight hair. Roan donned a skintight latex outfit designed by Christian Cowan for her performance.

"So sweet to be back in the bar that inspired Pink Pony Club," Roan stated on Instagram, sharing photos from the evening. The post garnered positive reactions from fans and celebrity peers, including Paris Hilton and Olivia Rodrigo.

While social media is buzzing with speculation about a potential remix of Olivia Rodrigo's song "Expectations" featuring Roan, no official confirmation has been released.

Roan's last musical release was the single "The Subway" in late July 2025. Prior to that, her song "The Giver" reached No. 5 on the Hot 100 chart. The artist has indicated that new music may take time, telling Vogue last year that the follow-up to her debut album, "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess," is not yet in the works and could take approximately five years to create, similar to the timeline of her first album.

Despite the hiatus from new music, Roan has remained active with festival performances. She recently co-headlined Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields festival, which supported Planned Parenthood. Roan is also organizing her "Super Graphic Spectacular" concerts in Los Angeles, featuring artists such as Lola Young, Tinashe, and Caroline Polachek. Proceeds from these concerts will benefit Roan's Midwest Princess Project, an LGBTQ+ charity supporting trans youth.
