Channel Ten's Amelia Brace Welcomes Second Child Amidst Show Changes

Channel Ten journalist Amelia Brace has welcomed her second child, a son named Valentino, with her husband, Adam Bovino. The announcement came on Thursday via an Instagram post, where Brace, 38, shared photos of the newborn.

"Our sweet Valentino is here, he was worth the wait," she captioned the post. Valentino is the couple's second son; they also have a two-year-old son, Leonardo, born in October 2023.

The birth marks a positive personal milestone for Brace, coming after a professional shift for her program. In July, Network 10 reduced the weekday broadcast of its current affairs show '10 News+', which Brace co-hosts with Denham Hitchcock. The show, launched in June 2025 as a replacement for 'The Project', was moved from its weekday slot to a single Sunday night broadcast due to struggling ratings. The network extended its flagship 5 p.m. news bulletin from 60 to 90 minutes to focus more on local reporting.

Despite the program changes, both Hitchcock and Brace are expected to remain with Ten. Brace is on maternity leave and will return to the network's news division, while Hitchcock will work on documentaries. The network stated that the decision to scale back '10 News+' was driven by audience demand for more local news coverage. The program's format had previously been shortened from an hour to 30 minutes in January in an attempt to improve viewership.
