Chad Lowe's Daughter Fiona Heavily Affected by Palisades Fire, Friend Says
A family friend revealed that Chad Lowe's daughter Fiona was deeply impacted by the loss of their home in the Palisades fire.
Fiona Lowe, daughter of actor Chad Lowe, was significantly affected by the loss of her family home in the devastating Palisades fire last year, according to a family friend. Mykesha Robinson, a music executive whose daughter Faith was best friends with Fiona, told the Daily Mail that "something happened when the fires happened" and that the family "lost everything."
Robinson shared that Faith and Fiona met on the first day of elementary school at Palisades Charter Elementary School in Pacific Palisades, California. The two girls were inseparable, earning the nickname "FiFi." Robinson described Fiona as a "ray of light" who "would go up and talk to anybody."
After graduating from elementary school, the girls lost touch. However, Faith recently attempted to reconnect by creating an Instagram account and sending a friend request, which was never accepted. Faith expressed concern to her mother, wondering if Fiona was "mad at [her]" or if she had "done something wrong."
Robinson stated she has been inconsolable since learning of Fiona's death on social media. She expressed that the friendship between their daughters blossomed when Fiona approached Faith and asked if she wanted to be friends and jump rope.
Fiona died by suicide on September 29 at the age of 13. In a statement to Page Six, Fiona's family expressed they were "deeply heartbroken" by the loss. In January of the previous year, Fiona and her family evacuated their home due to the Palisades fires, which destroyed their residence.
Lowe, 58, shared an Instagram post at the time showing his family returning to survey the damage. He described the resilience of his wife, Kim Painter, and their daughters—Mabel, 17, Fiona, and Nixie, 10—in handling the loss of their home of over a decade as "nothing short of remarkable."
