Chad Lowe's Daughter Fiona Dies at 13
The family of the 'Life Goes On' star confirmed the death of their 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, and shared a statement encouraging those struggling with mental health to seek help.
Chad Lowe's 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, has died, her family confirmed Tuesday. The family of the actor, known for his role in "Life Goes On," released a statement sharing their grief and directing individuals experiencing mental health crises to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
"We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona," the statement read. "She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance. She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives." The family added, "Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time."
Lowe, 58, shared Fiona with his producer wife, Kim Painter. They also have two other daughters, Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.
The family's statement concluded with a plea for support: "If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988." An online chat is also available at 988lifeline.org.
Lowe's last public tribute to Fiona was on Instagram in November 2025, marking her 13th birthday. He shared a photo of her smiling and wrote, "Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!! Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!!"
In February 2025, Lowe posted a photo of all three daughters surveying the damage to their Los Angeles home after a fire. He captioned the image, "Almost a month after we evacuated our girls finally got to go back to see what's left of their home. The way they’ve handled this whole devastating experience is nothing short of remarkable. I am in awe of their spirit and resilience. Helping them navigate these tough times is my sole purpose. Being their dad is my life’s greatest joy and privilege."
