Chad Lowe's Daughter Dies at 13
The family mourns the loss of Fiona, remembering her as 'smart, creative' and 'the light of our lives.'
Actor Chad Lowe and his family are mourning the death of his 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, who died Sept. 29 at a Los Angeles hospital. The County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner's office confirmed the information.
"We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona," the family said in a statement. "She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance. She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives."
The family stated that Fiona's passing is devastating and asked for prayers and privacy.
Fiona was the daughter of Chad Lowe and his wife, producer and casting professional Kim Painter. The couple married in 2010 and also have two other daughters, Mabel and Nixie. Lowe, the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe, is known for his roles in "Life Goes On," "Pretty Little Liars" and "9-1-1: Lone Star."
