Chad Lowe and Family Attend Wedding Following Daughter's Death
The actor, his wife, and daughters appeared publicly for the first time since their daughter Fiona's death at a nephew's wedding.
Chad Lowe, his wife Kim Painter, and their daughters made their first public appearance since the death of their daughter Fiona at the wedding of Lowe's nephew, Matthew Lowe, to Emily Markus. The event took place on Saturday in Santa Barbara, California.
Lowe, 58, was accompanied by Painter, 52, and their daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10. They were seated with actor Chris Pratt. Lowe wore a blue suit and tie, while Painter was in a black dress. Nixie wore a pink dress, and Mabel wore a cream sleeveless dress with a black jacket.
Lowe's brother, Rob Lowe, and his wife Sheryl Berkoff, along with their other son, John Owen Lowe, were seated two rows ahead of Chad Lowe's family. The wedding ceremony was officiated by Gwyneth Paltrow. Other notable guests included Cameron Diaz, Adam Levine, Katy Perry, Zoe Saldaña, and Maria Shriver.
This outing marks the family's first public appearance since the death of 13-year-old Fiona Lowe, who died by suicide on September 29. In a statement following Fiona's death, the family expressed their devastation, describing her as "the light of our lives." Mabel Lowe also shared a tribute to her sister on Instagram, expressing her love and grief.
The family has requested prayers and privacy during this difficult time. Resources for suicide prevention and mental health support are available.
